1st Response Drainage

Early Friday evening received a call from my anxious daughter telling me their drain was blocked. Her husband is currently working nights so I stepped into action. I’ve never had to call anybody out for a drain blockage before so Googled accordingly. Didn’t want to use Dyno-Rod or similar as they can be very expensive, so I was looking for a local independent business and identified one in Brandon only a few miles from my daughter house. I am of the opinion that I chose possibly the best one in the area. Called them and spoke with Andy Broadley. He was really helpful and said he’d be there within an hour and indeed he was. He got straight on the job and cleared the blockage quickly. He then put a camera into the drain and identified lots of scale and fat (not anything my daughter or son in law put down the sink as they only moved into the property 4 weeks ago). He then jet washed the drain and continued to use the camera and jet wash until all the scale and fat and a build up of silt was removed. He did a fantastic job, including using disinfectant to clean the drain cover and surrounding area when he had finished and was very pleasant to deal with. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Andy’s business if you are in need of such services. Also very good pricing so be assured you will get the best of service and not feel ripped off. Rang 1st Response initially after my mum was having problems with drainage in her park home. She had used 2 previous companies but the blockage was still there. A lovely guy called Andy came to help her, cleared it and advised next steps. He charged half what the others charged and managed to secure a collapsed main stack pipe, not an easy job under a park home! My mum has this week had the same problem due to putting too much loo roll down the pipes. Andy went over again and fixed it for her free of charge. We found him very informative and knowledgeable, just a decent , honest guy. Highly recommend him. 👍

I had to call out 1st Response Drainage as I had a severe sewage blockage. They came out within a couple of hours. Daniel was very friendly, keep me updated on way and did an amazing job using special tools including jets and cameras to clear the blockage to my satisfaction. Friendly and professional, Andy did a great job replacing my old drain covers. It was one of those jobs I had been putting off for a while, but the whole process was so easy, I wish I had done it sooner. From my initial request for a quotation to getting the job done, Andy communicated quickly and kept me informed at every stage of the process.
