⭐☆☆☆☆ I don't really know where to start. We've used Egan Waste Services for approximately 14 years and, until now, have never felt the need to leave a review. Last week we booked to have our septic tank emptied. Over the weekend we noticed the manholes overflowing, so we checked the cesspit and found it full to the brim. Based on what we saw, I contacted the office on Monday and explained my concern that the tank may not have been emptied properly. I asked for a jet vac and tanker to attend and investigate. Fast forward to today – a tanker arrived, but no jet vac. We were then given different explanations from the office. Initially we were told there was no water in it, then Rachel advised the off-road vehicle was being repaired. The tank was emptied again, but we're now left dealing with waste overflowing in the middle of this heat, creating a horrible and unacceptable situation. From what we've experienced, I genuinely question whether the tank was emptied correctly in the first place, as I find it very difficult to believe it could be completely full again in less than a week. What has disappointed me most is the inconsistent communication and lack of customer service. Different explanations from different people only add to the frustration when you're already dealing with a sewage issue. To then be told that Friday is the earliest anyone could attend to properly resolve the problem is, quite frankly, unacceptable. After 14 years as a loyal customer, I'm absolutely gobsmacked by how this has been handled. A very disappointing experience.
