Lanes Drainage Services UK - Edinburgh

Lanes Group began in 1992 as Lanes for Drains, a Leeds-based drain cleaning and repair specialist employing five people. Lanes Drainage Services UK now has over 2,000 staff across 20 operational depots and a turnover in excess of £300 million. The Edinburgh depot serves an urban zone of approximately 850,000 people and covers Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, and Kirkcaldy.

It serves domestic, commercial, and industrial clients, offering reactive and preventative drain services. CCTV drainage cameras are used to find the cause of blockages and conduct homebuyer's drain surveys. Complete drain and sewer services include repair of damaged pipes and drains, and a full suite of sewer services from inspections to relining and repair. Septic tank services include installation, emptying, maintenance, and removal.

Blocked and foul-smelling drains dominate the accounts left about this Edinburgh-area drainage specialist, and speed is the theme that recurs most strongly. Lanes Drainage Services UK is described by several customers as turning up far sooner than expected, with one blockage cleared within minutes of arrival. A tanker lorry is mentioned as arriving exactly when promised at a demanding site, where the emptying was then completed efficiently and without mess. Reviewers repeatedly remark that crews tidy up afterwards, leaving the area clean once the work is finished.

Named employees feature in the feedback: Kevin is credited with answering questions thoroughly while carrying out the job, and Sean is said to have cleared a blocked drain very quickly through an insurance claim. The workers are called professional and efficient, wasting no time, and a kitchen sink is noted as unblocked in next to no time. Customers describe pleasant, courteous staff who simply get on with the task, and the impression given is of a dependable outfit that people would contact again for septic tank servicing, waste management or an emergency call-out.
