Thistle Tanks

Thistle Tanks Ltd is a family-run business with over 30 years of experience collecting liquid waste. It is part of the Thistle Loos Group. The company empties septic tanks, cess pits and welfare units. It serves the Midlands, including Leicester, Northampton, Nottingham, Derby, Warwick and Coventry. Its tanker fleet can remove up to 15,000 litres of effluent on any one visit. Services include septic tank emptying and pumping, cesspit emptying, and welfare unit waste disposals.

Leicester households and site operators with cesspits and septic tanks rely on Thistle Tanks for regular emptying, and the feedback repeats a consistent pattern. Billie is the operative named most often, described by customers as courteous, punctual and willing to go beyond what the task strictly requires. Several accounts point to a smooth process that runs from the first exchange with Matt through to the work carried out on site, suggesting that scheduling and delivery are well joined up. The emptying itself is described as efficient and clean, carried out without fuss and with care for the surroundings.

Something that features in review after review is the friendly manner of those involved, with one customer recalling that chatting during the visit was a pleasant part of the experience. Repeat use over successive years appears in more than one account, indicating the reliability that brings clients back for further tank emptying. Coping with an unpleasant job competently and courteously is the recurring impression, and the professionalism applied to tank emptying is what customers return to when reflecting on the service.
