Deejay Tanker Services came and emptied our septic tank after we were let down by a company we’d used for years. Ours is quite an awkward job but the blokes did with it no complaints and we were very happy. We’ll definitely be using them again.

I needed a survey done on my home's soakaways. Without going into all the details, I was quoted by Paul for a full day's labour, for full survey of my soakaways, having an access route fitted, and getting a USB memory stick of photos and a plan of the soakaway system. Paul's chaps arrived (they were friendly, punctual, hard working and honest) but couldn't get the camera down my soakaways due to the size of the pipework and some blockages (I'd told Paul this may be a problem on the phone but he insisted it wouldn't be). The chaps tidied up and left the site at 2pm - they left the site tidy and the downpipes made good, but I got no survey, plan or access fitted etc. I was disappointed to be charged the full circa £500 by Paul, which I thought was unreasonable. I had subsequently got a major firm in who got the job done in 1/2 a day for less money. My advice would be to clarify exactly what the firm's expertise is for the quoted job.
