Nice guy easy to talk to. Foul drains blocked to the hilt and I needed a professional to undertake the work. Phoned a number of emergency companies and Wirral 24 where the only company to respond. He said due to workload it would be the next morning. He actually contacted me later in the day and said as the weather was going to be nice all weekend he would find a way of fitting me in before dark. So I could then enjoy one of the days of the weekend. He communicated though out the day so I didn't wait around and smashed through the issue very professionally. Recommend what I needed to do in the future and didn't charge the earth. Just one point to be aware of. Due to how compact the waste was i have quite a lot of cleaning to do out the rear of my house. The guy cleaned up after himself but it still got in quite a few places. This wasn't the fault of the service just the nature of the issue and how it needed to be cleared. My drains where so compacted right round the house and the rear manhole in the garden had popped under the pressure with foul waste everywhere 🤢. Conclusion: Highly recommended. Good price for a call out on a weekend. Really good communication and very easy to talk to. Just be aware you will need to do some form of cleaning afterwards due to the nature of the job. He made sure he cleaned everything he could. I don't often give 5 star reviews. For me 5 stars would have been the guy staying for another 3 hours cleaning down everything in the garden. That's not what I called out or asked for. In reality the guy came acted professionally did the job cleaned up after himself and left. "Emergency drain unblocking"
Fergus is just one of those rare tradesmen you're genuinely glad you found. Came out to our Wirral property at short notice, got straight to work on the blocked drain without any preamble, and had it running clear inside forty five minutes. Honest about what the problem was, honest about the price. That's all anyone asks for really.
Called Wirral Drains in a panic after our outdoor drain was backing up before a family party. They were with us within two hours, sorted the blockage completely and were gone before our guests arrived! Honestly just relieved I found them. Had a horrible blocked drain situation at our Chester home — water everywhere, awful smell, complete nightmare.
