I phoned them back to say problem not fixed and was told if the engineer comes out and in his opinion it’s a new problem, I will have to pay the £195 fee again. This was a stitch up as they could easily say it’s a new problem. I also did not have any additional funds so was unable to arrange an appt. Still have a blocked loo. I would not recommend them and regret not going to a local honest firm
Called about a blockage. Told there was no call out charge and a price would be given when they access the job. Called at 2pm at 4pm had a very rude woman call clearly working from home with a dog barking very loud during the call. She explained there was a flat charge for a blockage and it was now £249 as the person wouldn't be out before 5pm. I explained I called way before this and was told there wasn't a call out changed. She said there was and now it's £249. I decided to cancel and find someone local with no hidden fees, not rude during a distressing time and most importantly didn't lie. Call out someone relatable and save yourself the stress and the money and avoid rude staff calling you demanding you pay before they come out.
I only gave them 1 start because you have to if you want to post the review. I called to book. They advised it would cost £75. They called me on the morning of the appointment a few days later to advise it would be £175. I accepted this as I desperately needed my drains unblocking. The guy advised Welsh Water would have to sort the problem. I assumed there would still be a call out charge. However, they still charged me the full £175 even though they didn’t sort it. Furious.
Absolute disgrace I'm disabled and haven't been able to use my 1and only toilet for 2 days now even though it's been booked as urgent
