Metro Rod London Central

Metro Rod has been providing drainage solutions for over 40 years. The company operates more than forty regional drain cleaning service centres across the country. It is owned by Franchise Brands plc. Metro Rod offers services including drain repair and maintenance, plumbing, tanker services, pump design, installation and maintenance, fats, oils and grease (FOG) maintenance, and refrigeration door seal replacement.

Through its sister companies, it provides access to over 600 drainage, pump, plumbing and FOG engineers. Commercial customers have free access to a customer portal called Connect. Metro Rod plants a tree for every written review.

Metro Rod London Central handles drainage and sewage work across London, and the feedback collected from customers is consistently warm. Several reviewers describe the relief of having blocked drains cleared where previous attempts had failed, including one residential site that had defeated other firms. Speed of response comes up repeatedly, with customers noting that call-outs were answered quickly and that engineers arrived when promised, sometimes earlier than expected. Communication is another theme: customers mention being kept informed about arrival times and receiving helpful explanations of the problem as work progressed.

Named staff earn particular praise, with Lucas, Aaron, John Young, Stacey, Harry, William and Tony all singled out for friendliness, patience, expertise and a willingness to go further, such as tracing a missing part. Reviewers also highlight that problems were diagnosed accurately and fixed without fuss, that dirty water backing up into a bath was resolved, and that tidiness and clear pricing were appreciated. The work covered ranges from emergency drain unblocking to gutter cleaning and sewage treatment, and the impression left is of a team that takes ownership of a job and sees it through.
