Sweeney Drainage

Sweeney Drainage is a limited company established in 1944 by Joe Sweeney. It is run by Joe Sweeney's two sons, Brian and Doalty, and grandson Joe. The business has been in operation for almost 80 years and serves both domestic and commercial clients across the whole of the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Its team comprises consultants and engineers. Services include new drainage systems, drain repairs, blocked drains, root removal, high pressure jetting, excavation and shoring, reinstatements, flooded driveways and basements, tarmac solutions, pothole repairs, and insurance work. All work is fully tested before and after reinstatement.

Glasgow customers of Sweeney Drainage describe a service that solves problems other contractors had left behind, with garden drainage work singled out as a job completed without fuss and without mess. Reviews regularly refer to the helpfulness of the staff, from the office team through to the workers who attended the property, and the standard of the finished result is a point that comes up often.

The company is described as a drainage specialist dealing with blocked drains and related work in the city, and the accounts focus on how straightforward the process was from the first contact onwards. Praise centres on the attitude of the team, who are said to be friendly and capable, and on the speed with which the work was carried out once it began.

A handful of customers describe being pleased with the outcome after earlier attempts by other firms had failed to resolve the issue, and the absence of disruption during the job is noted more than once. The helpfulness of the staff, both in the office and on site, is a recurring theme across the feedback, as is the sense that the work was handled efficiently and left the property in good order. Satisfaction with the completed drainage work, and with the people who carried it out, runs through the customer accounts.
