They only wanted to film the drain, but it was blocked. The man called to say he could not clear it, so he will try to find another access so he could send the camera down. He sent his invoice with videos and diagrams. They also sent a very expensive remedial quote for work they believed need doing. Got a local man out to double check and they promptly cleared the drain and then video the underground pipes for half the cost. Worse thing was once cleared and recorded we found out that Drain Scan had filmed the wrong water pipe. It all felt like Drain Scan were most interested in getting as much money as possible, rather than giving a good service.

Was quoted £223 for video of drains with full report and images. Engineer very competent and helpful. When called to pay told the engineer had been on site for over 2 hours so as charge was an hourly rate cost would be £360! I explained no-one had told me it was based on time but no-one at Drainscan listened. At no point did anyone say I'm sorry about the confusion - no apology just a tirade about what I owed! I also suggested they should in future send an email or text to anyone they quote to avoid confusion and explain payment system. Again no response to that - just did not listen to me as a customer. So whilst operative was good, make sure you get a clear understanding of the price up front. I still have no idea of what I will ultimately pay nor have I seen the report nor know how I will receive it. Not the best experience.
